Elephants, deer, crocodiles and others reptiles...

• Udawalawe national park - 20 minutes drive from the hotel a very famous park for elephants, this is one place where you could get in to close proximity to elephants.

• Lunugamwehera national park – 5 minutes drive from the hotel, newly opened national park located in between two main national parks namely Yala and Udawalawe. There is a possibility of seeing leopards, wild bear and Tuskers apart from elephants, sambar and other common animals.

• Yala national park – 40 minutes drive the most famous national park in Sri Lanka you may spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, wild buffalo and deer.

• Nature Walk / Bird watching – Sepala wewa, one of the best bird tracks through a patch of jungles in to a beautiful lake and marshy land area ideal location for bird watchers.

• Deberara – It's a bird's paradise this is a beautiful combination of jungle and a remote village partly coward by paddy fields and tanks, elephants, deer, crocodiles and other reptiles are common in this patch of jungle.

• Divigala – 4KM drive in to the jungle on a jungle track where you end up at the famous leopard rock.

• Hadapanagala – well spread rock bordering a beautiful lake popular among tourists for its scenic beauty. Ideal spot to view wild elephants bathing in a natural setting.

• Deberara – It's a bird's paradise this is a beautiful combination of jungle and a remote village partly coward by paddy fields and tanks, elephants, deer, crocodiles and other reptiles are common in this patch of jungle.

• Night camping could be arranged at the above locations or bolhinda gala – Rock surface with cave like rock formations where the sunset is out of this world.

• Hotel Naturalist will be in attendance to take the guest on nature trails.
